Buried distribution wire (BDW) is a multiple pair double jacket drop wire with eithera smooth copolymer-coated 8-mil aluminum tape or a 5-mil corrugated copper-cladalloy steel (CCAS) tape shield. The inner and outer jackets are a black low densitypolyethylene. The aluminum tape shield is recommended for non-gopher areas.
