Galvanized Steel Outside Weatherproof Closure The SAFE (Security Access Free Enclosure) series medium security apartment enclosures are designed to house CATV distribution equipment and prevent cable theft. The SAFE enclosures are manufactured of heavy gauge mill-galvanized steel, treated with a multistage gray-green finishing process for longer life. Averaging over 20 years in use, SAFE is made to outlast the equipment inside and maintain a “like new” appearance for years on MDU (multi-dwelling unit) structures. The finishing process produces a high-gloss weather-resistant finish that resists corrosion and the onslaughts of acid rain, pollutants, and other atmospheric contaminants.
