That's right it's a video balun. Our factory has miniturized the balancing circuit and we now have one of the smallest baluns currently avaiable. We bench tested this unit at 1000' and it provided a great picture. Ideally this balun is best suited for up to a 500' video run over 1 pair category 5e or 6 UTP cable.
