 The ST188 ECA1 series of building entrance terminals is the flagship of the SurgeTech multi-pair protector line. This compact, space-saving design allows for maximum density in applications such as schools, hospitals and other large industrial complexes. This series of units are intended as primary protectors for communications equipment and circuits which are exposed to harmful transient voltage surges and sneak currents which are introduced onto the
Telecommunications line by AC induction, direct power crosses, and lightning. The protection unit consists of a rugged powder epoxy coated metal housing, protection field, and incoming/outgoing cross-connect field. Line protection is provided through an industry standard 5 pin protector modules (sold separately).
