RapidRun™ Runners™ - Making Hassle-Free Installation a Reality
Imagine pulling a VGA cable through a 3/4” conduit with a 90°
sweep – and not worrying about all those small pins when you’re
done. Imagine switching the installed cable from VGA to component
video or switching from DVI™ to HDMI™ in less than a minute. Never
before has there been an interconnect system that offered such
adaptability. Until now.
The RapidRun™ Runner™, the core cable of the RapidRun system,
makes each of these scenarios a reality. The advanced technology of
the RapidRun system makes installation of the Runner easier and more
flexible than traditional ways of running cable. Each Runner
features the RapidRun connector which makes termination after
installation quick and easy. Every Runner also includes two
protective end caps with eye-loops that protect the connector during
installation from debris. This simultaneously provides an easy and
safe way to pull the Runner through conduit or construction
framework. These features enable a Runner to be pulled through a
conduit as small as 3/4” in diameter, while the Runner itself is
flexible and durable enough that it can pass through a 90° sweep*.
The first step in building your RapidRun system is choosing the
appropriate Runner for the applications you are connecting. Three
Runner options are available, all CL2-rated for in-wall use. The
Home Theater (Blue) and PC/Video (Yellow) Runners are also available
with a plenum-rated jacket. Home Theater and PC/Video Runners are
available in lengths of 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150ft.
Digital Runners are available in lengths of 15, 25, 35, 50, and
65ft. Below is a detailed description of each Runner option. Make
your selection to meet the requirements of your installation.
